Celebrating Cask Ale Week

Celebrating Cask Ale Week

Mauldons Brewery forms part of the Nedging Hall Estate and is Suffolk’s oldest Brewery, crafting award-winning real ales since 1795.

Cask Ale Week is an annual celebration of Britain’s iconic fresh cask beer, taking place this year from 18th to 28th September 2025. We’re incredibly passionate about cask ale and have been brewing it for years. This is the industries chance to appreciate the care and craft that goes into every pint. The initiative, started by Cask Marque in the early 2000s, is backed by leading trade organisations, brewers, pub groups, and CAMRA.

Head Brewer Steve commented: ‘The beer industry gets bad press with the British drinking culture. I would like people to be educated that drinking a good pint of cask beer doesn’t mean binge drinking. I want people to be able to drink in moderation and simply enjoy a good pint of beer. For me, that’s what cask ales are all about’.

Beyond Silver Adder, our best seller, Mauldons boasts a diverse range of ales including bitters, stout, session IPA, catering to various palates.

Black Adder – A full-bodied, rich stout with notes of coffee and dark chocolate, ideal for those who enjoy deep, complex flavours.
Suffolk Pride – A robust, traditional premium bitter with a well-balanced malt and hop profile.
Mole Trap – A well-rounded pale ale with a crisp hoppy bitterness with a late malty flavour coming through. A well-balanced session beer at 3.8%.
White Adder – A crisp, refreshing pale ale with a delicate hop character and smooth malt backbone.

Boom. Happy Cask Ale Week.
