Assistant Brewer/Drayman

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Brewer/Drayman to join our team.

The role’s primary responsibilities include assisting the brewing team with day to day upkeep of the brewery environment, cask washing and cask preparation, and packaging of our products.

Location: Mauldons Brewery, 13 Church Field Rd, Sudbury

Reporting to: Head Brewer

Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday. Occasional bank holidays and weekends may be required.

Main Purpose of Role:

Cask Cleaning & Preparation

Packaging of our beers in cask

Upkeep of the brewery environment – cellar, warehouse, and site

Assisting with deliveries to our customers as required

Brewing and development alongside the Brewing Team

Person Specification:

Essential you have positive attitude, great people skills, are well organised and with an attention to detail

A team player but also able to work independently

Must be flexible with working hours due to the nature of the industry

An interest in beer is preferable, but not essential as long as you are keen to learn

Provide proof that they have the right to work in the UK

Must have a full driver’s license
